Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers) for regional routes
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
- Represent the company professionally with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
