Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and cargo vans in all weather conditions.
- Deliver freight to designated addresses in Honolulu and surrounding areas on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Honolulu roads and traffic patterns.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
