Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and goods across Oahu
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues promptly for fleet upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Honolulu geography and delivery routes
- Strong knowledge of freight handling and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
