Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Adapt schedules to accommodate flexible hour requirements while maintaining service standards
- Maintain electronic logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management skills with ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
