Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within Anchorage metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods with equipment assistance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
- Basic knowledge of Anchorage roadways and traffic patterns
