Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods throughout Honolulu County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt schedules to accommodate flexible hour requirements (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Honolulu streets and Hawaii geography
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
