Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and materials
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while accommodating your schedule preferences
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Document delivery information and handle paperwork accurately
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong time management and communication skills
