Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with adherence to safety protocols
- Document delivery status and resolve any transit discrepancies promptly
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and maintain a clean driving record
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline cargo operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with regional geography
