Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles for freight transportation
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at distribution centers and client sites
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization and delivery updates
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delays, incidents, or route changes
- Ensure all cargo is secured and transported according to safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable freight/trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
