Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided commercial vehicles for timely freight delivery across regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Safely load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment
- Navigate optimized routes while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate shipment status and delays to dispatch team promptly
- Complete electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation accurately
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular hours
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
