Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial trucks for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient load management
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bill of lading
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
