Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) for regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year of dry van or refrigerated freight experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills (GPS knowledge required)
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- TWIC card preferred
- No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
