Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently across the Northeast region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all federal and state traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (NY or Interstate).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
