Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to deliver goods across Alaska
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate loading/unloading procedures with warehouse teams
- Adapt routes for weather/traffic conditions using GPS navigation
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Alaska roadways and weather protocols
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote conditions
