Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (e-fleet compliance)
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients and dispatch teams
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Communicate proactively with logistics coordinators
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in e-logbook systems (e.g., Omnitracs, PeopleNet)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for extended overnight travel (4-6 days/week)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
