Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and time management
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate shipment status and delays to stakeholders in real-time
- Maintain clean driving record and submit regular maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
- Strong knowledge of Missouri/IL highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts
