Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight between warehouses, ports, and distribution centers
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment while following safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and Hawaii state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial freight driving experience
- Knowledge of Honolulu roadways and Hawaiian port operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/forklifts
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
