Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Handle loading/unloading operations with attention to cargo security
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with proficiency in GPS systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication tools
