Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Miami-Dade and Broward counties
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and DOT standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial trucking experience
- Familiarity with Miami metropolitan roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility for early morning/overnight shifts as needed
