Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and techniques
- Manage electronic logging systems accurately
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
