Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for time-sensitive deliveries across San Diego County
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Diego metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Valid California driver's license with no major violations in past 3 years
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
