Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and educational events
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow designated routes and adhere to strict schedules
- Implement student safety protocols during loading/unloading
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily mileage logs and incident reports
- Maintain professional conduct representing our organization
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clear driving record and background check
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/afternoons)
