Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning and delivery
- Document transportation paperwork and maintain digital records
- Provide exceptional customer service at client delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Virginia and regional roadways
- Flexible availability to accommodate early morning/late evening shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
