Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and district safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and school staff
- Respond appropriately to student needs and emergencies
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Clean driving record with minimum 2 years licensed driving experience
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage student behavior calmly and effectively
- Flexibility to work early morning and afternoon hours
- Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred
