Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages, meals, and merchandise to residential and commercial addresses within DC
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures when required
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team via mobile app
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Positive attitude and customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible daytime/evening shifts (10am-8pm)
