Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations throughout Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with warehouse tasks including sorting, packing, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission (if applicable to fleet)
- Strong knowledge of Oakland neighborhoods and major roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
