Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight throughout Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch teams regarding shipment status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Basic familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
