Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight within Memphis and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (day/night/weekend)
- Basic navigation and GPS proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Memphis metro area residency preferred
