Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across Alaska
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adapt delivery routes based on weather and traffic conditions
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient scheduling
- Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Strong knowledge of Alaska roadways and weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
