Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and time management
- Handle loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery status and any issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Honolulu traffic patterns and island geography
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
