Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within San Diego metro area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse staff
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work between 4-10 hour shifts
- Knowledge of San Diego traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
