Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (flatbed, dry van, or reefers) for local/regional routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD) compliance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work variable shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
