Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or aggregates to job sites across Chicagoland
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for efficient routing
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as needed
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement (Illinois)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends
