Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Washington, DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and mobile applications
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing when required
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC streets and metropolitan area
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
