Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch teams and job site supervisors for efficient operations
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and basic mechanical upkeep
- Navigate local routes and job sites with precision and timeliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area roadways
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and troubleshooting
