Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within 500-mile radius of Sacramento
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load scheduling and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS and telematics systems for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Report mechanical issues and maintain clean, professional appearance of equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
