Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes
- Adhere to HOS regulations while maintaining efficient delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Represent Durham Logistics with professional conduct at all customer sites
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility with overnight travel (1-3 nights/week)
- Pass background check and drug screening
