Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight between Alaska's key distribution centers and remote communities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital fleet management system
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes while respecting flexible scheduling preferences
- Build strong relationships with clients and warehouse personnel across the state
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and Alaska-specific transport requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience in similar climates
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Alaska's winter driving conditions and remote navigation
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to variable schedules while maintaining service standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
