Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated freight routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility in daily start/end times
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with secure loading/unloading procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and mountain driving
- Proficient in ELD usage and electronic documentation systems
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
