Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology efficiently
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route progress
- Ensure secure and timely delivery of specialized freight
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and bills of lading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional transportation regulations
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Flexibility to accommodate early morning/late evening shifts
