Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods between San Francisco Bay Area distribution centers and regional hubs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while utilizing flexible scheduling options
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California traffic regulations and Bay Area routes
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
