Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Henderson, NV and regional distribution centers
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while adhering to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage load securement and verify shipment documentation for compliance
- Represent Nevada Logistics Group with professional conduct at all customer interaction points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage and basic navigation technology
- Strong understanding of hours-of-service regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to adjust schedule for critical deliveries while maintaining work-life balance
