Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain shipment records
- Communicate proactively with clients and distribution centers
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
