Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck (24-26 ft) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely pickups/deliveries
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage route optimization for maximum efficiency
- Communicate proactively with clients and team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck (2005 or newer)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
