Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within NJ/NY tri-state area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Handle loading/unloading assistance as needed
- Maintain clean, professional appearance and truck condition
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ownership of DOT-compliant box truck (26' preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
