Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route planning and delivery scheduling with flexible hours
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and vehicle logs
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling per client requirements
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven safe driving history (no major violations in 3 years)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable personal vehicle for personal use
