Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation for on-time deliveries
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling procedures
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2005 or newer)
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and customer service skills
