Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper cargo securing
- Optimize routes using provided dispatch software
- Maintain detailed logs for mileage, deliveries, and expenses
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Communicate delivery status to clients via mobile app
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build relationships with consistent client partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- Ownership of DOT-compliant box truck (26' max)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate pallet jack
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch tools
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Pass background/drug screening
