Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on regional routes throughout Colorado
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and real-time tracking updates
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while maximizing fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max, under 26,000 lbs GVWR)
- DOT medical certification and annual vehicle inspection
- Strong navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
