Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to designated locations within San Diego County and Southern California
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulationsMaintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure cargo and ensure proper handling of specialized freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with San Diego metro area and Southern California routes
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
